For those who might care about deploying an ultra-cheap WebApp host I have successfully implemented my Xojo WebApp onto a Debian 12 instance on VPSDime.com using Lifeboat (https://strawberrysw.com). The cost is $US7 per month and supports as many WebApps as you want to install on it.
I cannot vouch for the speed (seems OK), but it is trivial to set up (~20-30 minutes tops) and is working OK. I have been using their Linux and Windows servers (Intel) for many years. Their support tickets are usually answered with 5-10 minutes.
Good to know. I typically use WarpLine because I have a good relationship with the owner, the support is great, and the price is low, but VPSDime seems to have them beat on the price point. Might deploy my next server there unless you come back with issues.
Thank you for sharing. I was just about to create a thread asking for host suggestions as I work out a backend infrastructure for an app I’m working on. How have you found the execution speed on the cheap Linux VPS they have?
