The app I’m working on crashes on a Samsung device and crash longs show this:
Unable to open libpenguin.so: dlopen failed: library “libpenguin.so” not found.
That’s not something I’m using within my project, so I’m wondering if it’s used by Xojo – if so it is expected to be preinstalled or is it failing to copy it for that device (for some reason).
Someone else had been struggling with missing libs, and I had thought the resolution was to declare them as a requirement in a manifest in some way. Android is then supposed to install the library with the app.
I wish I had more for you, I just know the answer is buried in here somewhere.
We really need a big update on Android soon.
There are so many work-arounds.
