Launch application from URL

This was last asked around 10 years ago…so maybe there is a solution now that doesn’t require an expensive plugin (o;

Can I launch my application from an URL like “barcode://?name=xxxxx” and get the parameters in the URL?

There’s an old blog post from 2016 that covers this. May need some changes for API 2.0, but it may still work.

This is why I like Xojo over other languages. You can read a technical information from 8 years ago and it still works in 2024!!
