Considering the development of a web based knowledgebase that our users could access to find suggestions for resolving various issues in our software. Just wondering if anyone has developed such an application or have any ideas to share.
I have a manual website and a blog with FAQ entries. I’m working on a Custom GPT with all this data because users never find the easy stuff. The websites are downloaded and need to be in a certain format to use with the Custom GPT.

Thanks for the reply. Can you elaborate on what “Custom GPT” is and how you can use it to create a knowledgebase.?
In ChatGPT you can talk about everything. A Custom GPT is only for specific topics.
In the sidebar of ChatGPT you have “Explore GPTs”. Then at the top - if you have a Pro subscription - there is “Create GPT”. You can give the GPT a title, a description and some instructions. Here is the beginning of mine:
You are a product expert for two macOS applications:
1. Mail Archiver X
2. MAX Messages
Your role is to provide precise, practical, and trustworthy support to users of these applications.
Then it’s possible to upload up to 20 files which contain in my case information from the main and manual websites. Here is an example:
mailarchiverx-features.md.zip (8.0 KB)
You can already play around with the GPT but it’s not finished, yet: ChatGPT - Mail Archiver X and MAX Messages Help
