It’s about Toolbar

Question #1:
Before populating a Toolbar, I only want to know how to set a Toolbar to a Window.

Is there’s a document I do not see ?

OK, there is a page named Toolbar Editor.

Unfortunately, in the DesktopToolbar, there is no mention about that page (that I saw).
Fortunately, google was here (for once); I do nt asked the Articifial Idiot about that.

Question #2:
is it possible to hide/show (via a MenuItel) the Toolbar ?

You drag a toolbar to the navigator. Add buttons etc to it, then drag that toolbar from the Navigator to your window.

There’s a toolbar example in the Desktop → Platforms section of the examples.

You can hide and show the toolbar with menus, buttons, or other ways.

Forum search Toolbar :grinning:

The Toolbar has a Visible property DesktopToolbar

Thank you for your answers.

Toolbar is not intuitive at all…

How do I add buttons ?

@Emile_Schwarz

Check my earlier reply, it explains this exactly as another user had same problem

My homemade toolbar is vertical with two buttons per row. Is this possible with the Xojo Toolbar?

That is what I wrote: not intuitive. Even with the screen shot, it tooks me a while to ckcik in the + button (too small, near three “useless” buttons (useless because they do nothing apparently, but I think I know what they are for…).

Brian: I will read it right now.

No

It works exactly the same as menus and for the same reasons.

That was what I was thinking. But in the menus, a visual feedback appears, not here.

Nicce video, but done for those who already knows.

I have to go. Be back later or tomorrow.
