Some airlines already fly empty, just to keep their routes otherwise they loose their right to flight those routes
I expect Lufthansa to cancel flights and let United to those returns.
At least the United crews are usually from US and are allowed to enter the USA.
They do. My flight to UK earlier this month was half empty. I had 3 rows for myself.
Those rules just got suspend a few days ago, as far as I remember.

I know that the personal contact for this kind of meeting is more than important.
The personal relationships are one of the most value added items of participating in this kind of events.
Nashville would be my first one and I was very excited about it.
Two more people from my company are going to participate.
One will be arriving from Amsterdam (cancelled- no flights) and two from Argentina (almost cancelled - also no flights)
I understand that a cancelation of this kind of event it is very hard for XOJO.
Too much time dedicated, to much money invested.
I beleive that a cancelation of the face to face convention is a must, and a virtual one it is really a possible one.
In terms of technology it is possible. In terms of money I think that it is also possible.
It will not be the same but it is possible.
Reduction of the revenue due to partial return of funds to people that had bought the tickets (and that return could be given as a credit for future Xojo licences or future conventions), and increase of the revenue by people, that for the cost to assit in person had decide not to participate, and if virtualy, with a reduced rate, could do it, that could place in a breakeven equation.
So we are living an special situation that needs special solutions…
Nothing will be the same, everybody will loose something, but we could all have our Xojo.Connect event.

the flight back was a bit fuller, but I still had my own row.

We’ll see. Will have to call and discuss with them.
If I cancel myself, I may just loose the money.
I need them to cancel the flight and refund me. Or make sure the cancellation is covered by insurance coming with credit card used to pay.
The Lufthansa website mentions they give free refund if the immigration to a county is not allowed, so this may give us a refund.
Just not sure about the flight within USA.
We had a 200$ cancellation fee per plane ticket. So we lose 400$.

That seems a bit expensive since YOU didnt cancel your trip. The USA did by banning you from entering.
