I’m near Bristol, been using RB/Xojo for about 3 years. Mainly develop dtatbase apps. using MysQL, as well as utility stuff for our in house ‘Access’ application.
we used to develop in Ms Access which we only support now and when the client want minor enhancement.

Relaxing in Woking all summer after spending the last year developing and testing a Xojo web-based school-management system (Attendance, Discipline, Commendations, etc.)

Not a full time developer (I’m actually a Radiologist by day) but have been using Xojo/RB since 2005.
English and currently living in Germany. Get fairly regular supplies of proper beer (bottled only, unfortunately). Most other necessities are available, just expensive. Bath was my home city. Worked at Bailbrook College for many years and Praxis(ED) for a couple. Spent a few years working in Bristol (Mewburn Ellis) before shipping over to this side of the ‘ditch’. Dad was a Radiologist and some point in his murky past
we don’t drink beer at all… but for some reason when we are in Germany , like to have a glass of cold beer at the restaurant near the riverside in cologne… What kind of apps do you write using Xojo??
Same here, but we have a good choice and I’ve just discovered Old Golden Hen so rather nice for the summer! That and I found Marstons Pedigree and Hobgoblin with some Speckled Hen, so I’m more than happy. Sometimes I find a bar with a cask on the shelf too!
Shouldn’t we have a users group. There used to be a midlands group but was a little difficult to any info about it. Would be good to meet some fellow xojo’ers. I need all the help I can get!!

Would be good to exchange ideas. I’ve been struggling with a problem all day today, in the end went a different route to solve it. I’m sure a phone call or post would have solved it. On the old boards no hesitation but here well…
