Is possible create an android service or background app?

i would like to create an app that must work in background to acquire information like gps position and other device infos, and then send this info to a server every x minuts…

is it possible with actual version of xojo for android

Did you tried to check this yourself? Create an App with MobileLocation controller, run the App and send the App to the background (do not close). What happens?

yes i have … and
when the app go in background stop acquiring gps position and stop send info, i have tried also with a timer (15 seconds) but it not worksthe app stay in background and stop all activitys
