Probably this is already know but the iOSAlert declares do not build. They do work in the iOSEmulator though.
Make sure you submit a Feedback report (search first).
Remember, UIPIcker had the same issue https://forum.xojo.com/18231-uipicker-does-not-build and it has not been resolved yet. Actually, not a word from the Xojo team. Could be they are just as puzzled as us on these ones.
Maybe it is time indeed to file a bug report with both these projects. We could use the picker right about now as well.
In the iOSAlerts example- update the iOSAlert ObjCLib constant Default Value to something like “/usr/lib/libobjc.A.dylib” and then you should be fine.
