iOS apps forgetting Large Title mode

My iOS screens randomly forget the Large Title Display Mode in the Inspector, and revert it to Never. I can’t detect a pattern when this happens. I have multiple screens in one app and after some time, one or two screens will forget the mode, and I’ll set it again, and everything is fine for another while. Anyone else see this?

Note that I’m referring to running apps. The layout editor still doesn’t show the large title mode correctly at all (see #62350, #68843), but that’s not relevant to this.

I can’t tell if you’re talking about running apps or the IDE or both.

I’m referring to running apps, as I said, to distinguish between what appears in the layout editor and running apps. As I said, the layout editor doesn’t properly reflect this property regardless, but that’s a different problem. It’s running apps that I’m concerned about. Not sure how else to word it.

Could it be that LargeTitleDisplayMode is set to automatic and a child screen is set to Never?

In that case the parent will go back to a “compact title” when the child screen is closed.

I have never seen this but I have to admit, all my MobileScreen.Activated events have some code to set the large title to always.

It’s set to Automatic for all the screens but sometimes when I look at it in the Inspector, it has reverted to Never, seemingly randomly.
