Just discovered another difference in IE11. If you use iframe, you need to set the embed paramater wmode=transparency or else you won’t be able to put anything on top of the iframe. Works fine in Chrome without this parameter.

Nobody likes IE11. It is the most unwanted app in the world. For years and every new iteration adds to that. I think it is Ballmer who had a strange compassion with unwanted and unsatisfactory software.

WebHTMLViewer is an iframe. Your discovery can be of importance.
A possible workaround is to use WebSDK HTMLArea.
Sorry, I forgot to mention it is a WebHTMLViewer component.
