iframes in IE11 need wmode=transparency

Just discovered another difference in IE11. If you use iframe, you need to set the embed paramater wmode=transparency or else you won’t be able to put anything on top of the iframe. Works fine in Chrome without this parameter.

I don’t like IE11.

Nobody likes IE11. It is the most unwanted app in the world. For years and every new iteration adds to that. I think it is Ballmer who had a strange compassion with unwanted and unsatisfactory software.

WebHTMLViewer is an iframe. Your discovery can be of importance.

A possible workaround is to use WebSDK HTMLArea.

Sorry, I forgot to mention it is a WebHTMLViewer component.

I didn’t know my name changed…
