How to install pgadmin 4 on Raspberry Pi4 using Linux Bookworm 64bit?

Hello all,

I have tried to install pgAdmin4 onto a RPi running Linux Bookworm 64 bit countless times. It’s getting old now having spend the last 3 days trying!

Can anyone give me some guidance on how to do this successfully?

PostgreSQL 15 is already installed and appears to be working.

It is two years old, maybe outdated.

Thanks Gilles. I googled and used Claude to get procedures, but nothing has worked… :weary_face:

After pulling my hair out and reverting to a backup… I tried the first link you included. That finally worked. However it requires that a virtual environment be running before using. So each time I want to use it, i have to launch to the virtual environment.

Not very convenient. It’ll work for the moment but needs a better solution.

Glad it works now. PostrgeSQL is one of a kind, it’s not as easy as MS SQL to setup.

Maybe you can find more information on a forum dedicated to PostgreSQL.
