I needed a break, so I wrote this simple HowTo.
How do I use the DesktopColorPicker.pdf.zip (1.5 MB)
To paraphrase some know person… “I whish the doculmentation was as nice as this document”.
More could have been done on the subject, but this is far away from what exists.

One recommendation, you can use a PDF compression service like: Compress PDF online. Same PDF quality less file size and it can reduce the size of the PDF. Sometimes even by 95% like in this case:
