I’m using Linux Mint with KDE/GTK applications and I would like to enable a global menu (like in macOS or Unity).
I know that GTK theoretically supports exporting menus to a global menu bar, but I can’t get it to work.
How can I enable a global menu for GTK apps in Linux Mint? Are there any tutorials or guides on this subject?
Just doing a quick web search, it looks like they dropped native support for global menus 10+ years ago. There are some open source projects but the ones I found have been archived or haven’t had any activity in over 5 years.
