I deleted the pngs and hit run, and sure enough it froze at done assembling code. Hasn’t crashed yet, though. (Mac OSX 10.7.5)

The project is definitely corrupted. If you look at the windows, many controls, and methods there are spaces or characters. This isn’t a problem with Xojo but with a corrupted project it seems. For example a push button called “Pushbutton n270509” has a superclass of “Pushbutton n” I would talk to your colleague and ask them to send it to you again because this won’t be fixed without considerable effort.
