Just wishing to mention the successful instal of Feedback from here


debian version : 14,2 MB (14183064 octets)
onto Desktop: MATE 1.24.0 Distro: Linux Mint 20 Ulyana base: Ubuntu 20.04.
Steps:
  • downloaded the file
  • extracted from “Caja” Browser popup menu.
  • clicked on the executable (31,8 MB (31842688 octets))
    …and voila !
    … ready to fill up Bugs reports so Xojo Team has plenty to read about Linux users for their next long winter…

Yes - the key is to NOT use the DPKG directly. Also, if you look into the Resources folder, I believe that you will find the .desktop file to add to /usr/shared/applications/ to make it available in the app menu system.
