Is there a way to set the max/min positions the splitter can be moved to relative to the window dynamically so it the can deal with the window being resized , meaning be recalculated for the current window size?

You can Recalculate all the properties in the Window Resize event.

It can sometimes be a little bit of work depending on what you want your logic to be.
