It depends on your hosting provider as Norman says. A VM could work with some work and knowledge of linux.
Best if to host it in XojoCloud or 1701 .

Sharing your application among hundred or thousands clients is at least very risky.

Linux Xojo web apps are seldom supported by shared hosts.

It seems Windows shared hosts are more permissive.

The best, though, is to get a VPS. Or even better, Xojo Cloud or 1701Software.com. I have been with the later for years and their service is outstanding.
