We have a growing list of PDF file that are used for reference. Having them in windows folders sort of works, but hard to find things that apply to multiple fields of interest, so Tagging PDF files would be better.
Ideally I would like a web interface , with thumbnails of the PDFs,as well as descriptions and a tagging system for each file would work better.
This would allow easier searching.
As the use would never be very heavy (probably only used 1020 times a day in total among 20 users) I thought sqlite would be fine for the tagging, etc.
And use MBS plugin to create thumbnails of the PDFs.
Would also allow me to see which files are never used and cull them.
I don’t really need a versioning system etc.
I haven’t written anything using XOJO for web access, just windows and osx, but this seems like would work?
Am I reinventing then wheel, is there already something like this?
Thanks for any feedback …
