Do NOT install windows update KB5030219 (Win 11) - it breaks Xojo

Xojo 2023 r2.
Fairly large project that previously worked with latest Xojo version.
A few days ago, my Windows decided to install the update: KB5030219.
Today, when I’ve tried to open my Xojo project, I’ve noticed Xojo crashing right after it was done loading the project.
Went to Event Viewer and noticed the following Error event:

Tried to recall what happened with my PC since I’ve last opened this project… checked Windows update history and found the KB5030219 update was the only thing that was not present when Xojo worked correctly so I went and uninstall the update, restarted the PC and I can now re-open and work on the project without a problem.

KB5030219 is installed on my development computer.

I opened and ran an old project with 2019 R3.1, a newer project with 2023 R2 and a current project with the latest beta. All are web applications. In every case, the application runs fine. I do not experience the errors that you are reporting.

Is it possible that something specific to the project is causing the issue?
Is the issue happening only with certain types of projects (as I said, mine are web applications)
What happens if you reinstall the KB patch? perhaps Windows Update installed it incorrectly or incompletely? That happened on one of my computers back in Windows 7 days.

Funny thing, this project is also an web project…
Regarding if there’s something specific to the project… other than it’s 2 years old so it went thru various xojo upgrades… nope, just big
Another thing that’s bugging me is that I don’t understand the relation between a web project and XojoWinUIFramework64.dll …

You say that Xojo crashes, well, Xojo has an UI, and such UI is used for any project. While interacting with the UI Xojo made something to crash.

Yes… I don’t know why when I saw that dll, I thought about the new XAML… tired

For the record, the XojoGUIFramework64.DLL had many crashes and bug reports before the XAML existence, many related to debugging. Now we see XojoWinUIFramework64.dll repeating the history.

There’s a complaint reported: https://tracker.xojo.com/xojoinc/xojo/-/issues/73471

Feel free to add points and/or open a new report with more data.

About that update, well… I can see lots of complaints… so it seem it really affects in bad ways some machines.
