Did you change the superclass ?
I made a long thread in December last year about such a conversion. You need to be careful doing it and proceed slowly.

somehow yes because i converted all to desktopcontrols.
sometimes this combobox looks good sometimes empty and much longer.
i not saved the project. opened again and it appear normal!?
the project was saved in xml.
