Has anyone have any recent code/plugin/etc. that engages with a credit card processor?
I’ve looked at Stripe and Square APIs, and it looks seriously convoluted. I had, a number of years ago, used Stripe; but they’ve made Serious Changes.
I wish I had my idea ready. I ran into the same issue a few years back. I am considering updating my own app, once I’m convinced it all works well, update it and fix all the bugs, to make it available for purchase. If I do it’s at least two years away though. Maybe someone else has a better solution. Mine is currently integrated with Paddle b/c they do all the tax filing work. But I also designed it in such a way that another version for FastSpring wouldn’t be too hard to write. Still - years away. Want to help me test the processes? All my software is written with XOJO, and MonkeyBreadSoftware, Einhugar, and PiDog plugins.
Take a look at @Tim_Parnell’s TPLM.
You can follow his instructions to integrate it with Stripe and Fastspring, and it consists of both a server-side site and a client component to include in your software. It can generate and mail out keys (BYO-SMTP), manage subscriptions, and database your customers.
I’m using it and it has saved me so much time over developing my own solution.

Another recommendation for @Tim_Parnell’s TPLM. I just recently went through a demo with Tim and made the purchase. All is set up with Stripe, and it will be replacing a much older out of date system that I have been using up to now.
