How to copy text from a document and paste it to a text box.

at design time ? or run time?

at run time… make sure you set the appropriate ACCEPTTEXTDROP in the control OPEN

And ensure the encodings match if you are going to drag and drop, otherwise you may get unexpected results if the text file is not UTF-8.

At design time, I have a window with a text box and wish to copy and paste some test from a text file.

Then copy/paste just like you would between any two documents.

Copy from document, paste to Text Property of the TextEdit/TextArea control
