Copy and paste from one tab or page of a page panel to another page still doesn't work

Even when I start a new project under 19r3.1 accepting that I’ll be using API 2.0, I still run into Grrrrr >:( events. <https://xojo.com/issue/44860> has been closed saying that it’s fixed and verified, but it’s still failing in 19r3.1.

New Project
New Window
Add a PagePanel
Add a Label to page 0
Copy the Label
Change to Page 1
Paste the label

You are returned to Page 0 and the Label is pasted there.

sometimes also for one “copy” you get as many paste as you have # of pages on the panel …

I just discovered that on a new project that I tried in 17r3 … so, it looks like it’s never been checked.

to get what I want, I duplicate the items I want, then move them out of the window
go to the page I want, and move them there. it works.

Ditto. Probably because copy/paste never worked.

That’s the workaround I suggest in the report.
