Contextual Menu Cursor?

Hello,

Is it usual protocol to have a contextual menu keep the same cursor, when a user hovers over the choices?
Or, should I change the cursor to a hand when the contextual menu is displayed?

I have no idea what the “Norm” is?

I just tested a number of contextual menus on my Mac and the cursor stayed the same when hovering over all of them.

When displaying the context menu, the cursor just remains the same, but at one time the Mac OS would change the cursor to an arrow with a little menu in the bottom right corner when the control key was held down and there was a contextual menu available…
