Color Picker Options

in surfing the web I ran across a page that talked about tips and tricks with the OSX color picker… nowhere did it seem to imply that the author had done anything “extra”…
but the image shown looked like this

and as you can see there are “new” items on the toolbar.

Anyone know anything about this?

found it… turns out it is a “replacement” picker plug-in for OSX

The operating system allows color picker “add-ons” which is what you’re seeing above. There are quite a few of them:
