Changing DesktopWindow.Top and DesktopWindow.Left have no effect on Linux

Feedback case 68162.

Setting DesktopWindow.Top or DesktopWindow.Left doesn’t seem to have any effect at all on Linux.

On Windows and macOS, setting these values programmatically will move the window to the required location. Doing this on Fedora 35 (default installation with Gnome) does nothing.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Are you using Wayland or X11?

Fedora 35, default settings. I think that’s Wayland?

Wayland still doesn’t support setting the locations of Windows, which imo is a big drawback so I’ve switched back to X11.
