I am trying to get a simple web app running on Linux. I have installed Apache, mysql & php (LAMP set up). This is all working fine. Copied files into www/html directory. Entered the address and port into the url and I keep getting ‘the requested url was not found’. I have followed instructions found on the web for both standalone and cgi. Does anyone have any ideas that might help.
Upload in binary mode. Permissions of all but .htaccess fils to 755.
I’m new to this. Does it matter if I have copied and pasted it using Nautilus?
It shouldn’t make a difference. Since you have problems it’s good to try again.
What is Nautilus?
