Can you make ends meet with Xojo? (o;

Thanks to all here for the great advises and the great wishes :slight_smile:

Not that said as it sounds…five weeks to go and then paid for three months (o;
So lots of time for thinking and trying (o;

This is the BEST advice anyone can possibly give. I started my own business in 2003 providing Marketing assets and tools for mid-size to large companies. Prior to my initial usage of XOJO, I created lots of Marketing multimedia tools with Macromedia Authorware and Flash. Needless to say, when the SWF format bit the dust, I had to reinvent myself. I chose XOJO mainly because of the relatively quick learning curve. From my initial XOJO app in 2016 until I retired this year in June, I averaged a six-figure income annually from XOJO projects alone. HOWEVER, the big reason was not so much my programming skills, but my ability to integrate the years of knowledge I acquired in management and technology with those programming skills. I never had a dry spell in the past 8 years where I didn’t have one or more projects in the queue. Programmers with business or technical expertise will ALWAYS win out when competing with programmers who don’t have such expertise. Look at it this way … which of the two would YOU hire for that all-important need you have???

Now that I’m retired, I look back and have only one real regret … that I didn’t learn and apply XOJO any sooner than I did.
