Can we use triggerServerEvent in an executejavascript of a webcontrol?

is it possible to use triggerserverevent inside an executejavascript of a simple webcontrol ?
without using a websdkuicontrol ?
this would be to get back a return value from a webpage.
a range of a text selection to be more precise.

You must have a way to receive the data, which requires a WebSDK component unless you want to get in to using the hashtag or other hacks.
