there are the add on to perform symbolic calculus or calculus with xojo?

I thought some of the other members might know of some plug-ins, but apparently not.

The only thing that I can suggest is that you set up a Xojo application as a front end to call Maxima using shell commands.

Bob Delaney has some excellent stuff, but I haven’t seen anything on his site related to symbolic math.

yes all his (very nice) plugins are for numerical calculus, not for formal equations.
