Now that the IDE decides when we want to view offline documentation and there’s no way to tell the IDE to use offline documentation without physically disconnecting from the internet or faking it, is there a way to easily browse the documentation by version of the IDE without downloading the documentation and finding the install folder and browsing that (while also offline as the search will bring you to the live docs even while browsing the offline docs…)?

Annoying, if this was a conscious decision, please reconsider, thanks.

If you sniff the connection, you’ll see that the IDE does something like this:
I did, but searching there also takes you to the latest version
When I search, I add the version to the text, for example 200r1 to get the results for this version.
