ASE G1R certified

Way off topic but hey why not?
Back in 2019 I took the ASE G1 test and passed it, so since it has to be renewed every 5 years I took the Renewal test and passed. My manager signed off on my experience so now I have ASE certification :smile:

Way off from any computer related stuff but it was hard work and hey anything to advance a career :slight_smile:

So far OT that I have no idea wot you are talking about. :thinking:

Yes sorry I guess I was excites :stuck_out_tongue:
ASE G1 is The Auto Maintenance and Light Repair Certification Test (G1) contains 55 scored questions, plus 10 unscored research questions covering knowledge of the skills related to maintenance and light repairs in engine systems, automatic transmission/transaxle, manual drive train and axles, suspension and steering, brakes

It is A USA proctored exam for Automotive skills. Plus to qualify you must prove hands on experience.

@TimStreater
Now you learned about USA automotive certification :slight_smile:

Good for you!

I worked as an auto tech in college and received ASE certification in 8 areas of expertise, which was everything they had at the time except for transmission. It was an awesome career at the time.

To this day I still work in the automotive industry, but in an engineering capacity and of course that involves my software development skills.

ASE is a legit certification.
