Hey everyone,

Wanted to let everyone know that APT 3.5 is now available.

New features:

  • APT now has an iOS codesigning capability for signing your apps when the Xojo IDE is unable to do so which provides more specific error messages.
  • Added a dark mode icon
  • Refactored certificate generation and moved to new Certificate menu, allowing users who have connected an App Store Connect API account to directly create the following items. Each menu item has a tooltip telling you specifically what they are for.
    • Apple Developer Certs
    • Apple Distribution Certs
    • iOS App Development Certs
    • iOS App Distribution Certs
    • Mac Development Certs
    • Mac AppStore Distribution Certs
    • Mac AppStore Installer Certs
    • Developer ID Application Certs

Note: There is a disabled menu item for Developer ID Installer Cert at the bottom of the Certificates menu. Currently Apple does not allow you to create those items anywhere except in the Apple Developer Portal.

This update is available by selecting the Apple Profile Triage > Check For Updates menu or can be downloaded directly here.

Unable to find a keychain to store your Apple Store Connect API credentials.

twice followed by

An error occurred while trying to save to your keychain.

When configuring settings.

There is nothing in the keychain referring to “Apple Profile Triage” or “APT”.

Yup, I’m still trying to figure out how to reproduce that.

Happy to try anything out my end if it helps. Perhaps a cutdown app with just the save code in it? I could video running in debug?

Well at the moment I’m sitting in a dentist chair getting a crown fixed so it’ll be later today before I could do that for you
