Does anyone know of any good software that would help you to plan an app?
If you Google search it you get tons of planning software for bathrooms and kitchens etc but I was hoping to find a piece of software (preferably web or Mac) that would let me plan out the app.
Anyone have any ideas?

What exactly do you want to plan? Why do you think you need software to help you? How complex is your app?
I have a list of features on Redmine which I use for planning. Redmine also offers Gantt charts if you want to do more formal project planning. The features are mirrored to Uservoice where I ask users to vote. Which influences my planning.

Nothing specific, I just don’t like how many things are just written down freeform in notes apps and it got me to wondering if there was any apps for it that’s all.
this “yEd - Graph Editor - yWorks” have a online tool yEd Live and a setup for windows/mac/linux.
for simple things i use a mindmap as orientation.
Maybe Wireframing would be helpful? Then you can mock up your screens and add your notes there?
I use Trello for planning app development.
