App Icon with dark green backgroud after compile

I use Xojo 2024 r2.1 licensed for try to make a Android App.

I added a App Icon with trasparent color.
When I compile the App Xojo adds a dark green background with a sort of grid instead of a transparent background.
In addition to this it also seems to zoom the icon by 30% making the image go out of the edges. Is this normal? Does it only happen to me? I thought it was just a thing during debugging but even when compiled it does the same thing.

This is the original icon that I put on Xojo App Icon:

This is how it appears on the phone. Both in Debug and compiled. Also publishing it and downloading it from the play store.

I use a pixel6a android phone. I don’t have icons with transparent background on any of the apps. All icons are round but your screenshot shows an app icon similar of those on my mac/iphone. I guess Android have different configurations and can vary from phone to phone.

I’m sorry I can’t help. Maybe transparent icon is not supported (by Xojo)? Have you tried an icon without transparency?

If I use a Icon without trasparent Xojo don’t replace with dark green brackground, but ever zoom the Icon.

I’m not sure it is xojo adding the background dark green grid.

App icons shouldn’t have any transparency.
You can try reducing the contents of the icon to make it fit in the “squircle” (rounded square)
