App.currentlayout.content = BOMB

The documentation shows this

Var s As New MyLayout
App.CurrentLayout.Content = s.Content

After an initial login, I do this to get to a tabbed layout.
If someone logs out, I do the same thing, but return to the initial layout (which I construct as a new iosLayout.

This worked well for years, but suddenly is crashing hard (no exception thrown), but only the 2nd time called.

I don’t even know where to look to debug this, so hopefully someone can tell me something enlightening.

TIA

I can help you with that. I’ll need to get to my computer later today to get all of the steps.

Does it crash in the simulator? Or just on-device?

Both.

But both is new. In the past only the real device would crash.

Ok, make sure your Mac is set up to show full crash reports. The trick here is to catch the crash in the simulator right after it happens and click on the notification. If you could send a crash log, it’ll point us in the direction we need to look.

Well joy. Now it’s not bombing in the simulator, but I can’t debug on a real device.

Posting to TestFlight to see what’s what…
