Alfred Xojo Docs Search

Just a quick tip. Users of Alfred can use a simple short to search the Xojo docs:

alfred://customsearch/Xojo%20Docs/xojo/utf8/plus/http://documentation.xojo.com/index.php?search={query}&go=Go&title=Special%3ASearch

Then just type “xojo FolderItem” to look up the FolderItem docs.

You can do something similar with LaunchBar as well. Create a new search template with this:

http://documentation.xojo.com/index.php?&search=*&go=Go

I wrote a blog post about this last year that I should probably update for Xojo.

Yeah, there are a number of apps/services that can make use of these patterns. Pretty sure it can be done with Launchy too. Just figured I’d share. Maybe a wiki page to collect them, but only if enough are found.
