Just wondering if anyone has any experience running windows updates for air gapped computers? Especially for non tech savvy end users. Would love a command line solution and a folder of files that could run in the semi-background ideally.
Years ago I used a tool called Autopatcher that could download Windows updates from the Microsoft servers, save them (e.g. on a CD), and then install them on one or more other computers. It looks like it’s still active.
Looks like the developer finished up a year or so ago. We’re working through dism.exe and downloaded cab files at the moment. It’s really strange that there is not an obvious solution.
