Advice on upgrad of OSx

Hi,
I don´t have a Mac with Tahoo nor Sequoia
I have a customer using a software I had done using XOJO IDE 2024r2.
He has a MacBook Air with an M2 chip.
I use Firebird as Database and MBS SQLPlugin to connect it.
With Sonoma everything works fine.
Any advice or any bad experience on upgrading OSx to Sequoia or Tahoo ?

Hi Marco,

Most of my macOS apps are developed using Xojo 2023r2 and are running on High Sierra up to Sequoia last version (both Intel and ARM).

I did a few tests on Tahoe, using Xojo 2026 and had some graphical issues and MySQL issues.

I didn’t test using 2026r1 yet.

I have no experience with Firebird.

When you upograde the OS, you have to use the latest software you were using previously (in your case Firebird and MBS), else,you’re going for troubles.
