I’ve tried everything suggested here and even re-installed my Mac 2 times (clean install) but on my Hardware it stays slow. Because all other Apps (Apple and non Apple ones) behaving just fine, i have the strong feeling that the Xojo IDE is doing something wrong. And the mentioned FR ist confirmed to be a Bug: <https://xojo.com/issue/56900>

It’s a feature of Xojo : slow
Sadly your own compiled project can be slow too if it is a bit complex/bigger. It’s my biggest complain.
Last I noticed something very odd. Scrolling the listbox was faster when the main window isn’t activated. So I click outside the apps window, then hoover over the listbox without clicking and start scrolling the listbox. It was much faster updating everything. As soon the app was activated (clicking on the apps window) it was slow again. The difference was huge.
