[Solved] Set app to frontmost app (For app in MAS)

Thank you again everyone for posting this. It was exactly what I have been looking for tonight. :slight_smile:

Hi guys, sorry if the post is very outdated, but in Yosemite 10.10.4 it seems not to work, anyone has an idea of why is this happening?

in which event you use it?

I’m very sorry I figured out. I was using it in the wrong Event. (You’re right Axel)

I too, cannot get the answer provided by Albin, to work in OS X 10.10.4
I had exactly the same code working in previous versions of OS X, but not in the latest?

I have tried it in the app.open event, and also in the window.open event.

Any ideas?

I use it in DragOver.

But if the app in question doesn’t require a user to drag anything into the app - then it will be completely unintuitive.
I thought the idea behind it was to make a window ALWAYS stay on top, even if other apps are clicked?

Strange that it used to work, but now doesn’t.
Oh well, never mind.

That is called a Global Floating Window…
app.FrontMostMBS = true
will also do it.
I feel like such a dope since I knew this…
