For the record:
there is two cities with the name Mons (one in the south of France, one in Belgium);
there are two cities that share the name of Alep: one at ~80 Km of Avignon, South of France, the second one in Syria.
And I do not talk about Rome, Paris, (La Fayette / Lafayette) etc.
