Dru looks pretty interesting. Not a real InDesign replacement yet, but amazing for the price and that it was created in Xojo (presumably by a sole developer).
One year later: Thanks for the hints to Logoist, Beatrix! I am in real life a graphic designer, rather an old-fashioned typesetter with the Creative Cloud (had to, though I hate the abo scheme Adobe is using) but Logoist is so much more fun for creating icons and window backgrounds.
But although Logoist 2 has a PDF output now it renders the image ti pixels and I would rather like to use the vector informations. I just was informed there is a new vector design app for the Mac which looks very promising (and gives a preview on different end resolutions, it seems). Could it be possible there’s a vector app on the way for those of us who still spill bitter tears about Freehands death?
