Installer Creation for MacOS, Windows and Linux?

Would it be possible to copy this cert somewhere where it can be accessed by Appwrapper?

The certs I downloaded, just double-clicked them and they got installed on my keychain.

You can try to export the cert from your keychains “System root” and re-import it in your keychain “Login”. So it can be accessed from AppWrapper.

The “Developer ID Certificate Authority” is only needed, if you want to distribute a signed app to other in-house developers in your team. It is not neccessary if you want to distribute your app via Website (or Mac App Store)…

I exported the“Developer ID Certificate Authority” from the root and imported to Login as suggested. That seems to have corrected the issue with AppWrapper! Thanks!

Now if I can get it tied into DMGCanvas and get it all working, I’ll be set. I really like being able to use DMGCanvas to design the installer.

BTW, when AppWrapper sends program to Apple for Certification and Notarization, when it comes back successful, is it done or do I have to wait for some type of notification back from Apple?

Sam,

I just bought a year of AppWrapper since it appears to be working now that I copied Developer ID Certificate Authority Cert to Login. I’ll probably have a few more questions, but I think I’m getting there with your’s and everyone else’s help!

Now I just need to get it working with DMGCanvas and I’ll be very happy!

Is there some length of time that I need to wait after an app is submitted to Apple by AppWrapper before It’s actually ready for distribution to avoid the warnings during install or running the first time?

Just to let you know that right now I’ve been working with Apple over a code signing issue (for about a week now) and it may mean that in the future you’ll have to use this identity for testing your App Store builds before you submit them. I’ll let you know once I know more.

There should be a guide within the App Wrapper help on how to set-up the integration between the two products.

Correct, when App Wrapper says it’s done, it’s done all the additional steps after Notarization was successful.

Excellent, thank you for support App Wrapper (and me). When you have questions, you can use the “Contact Ohanaware” option on the Help menu as this will allow you to include other information in the e-mail that I might be able to use to help solve the issue.

Not as far as I know. I normally test (on a different machine) pretty soon after and it general just works.

You will receive an eMail from Apple with the result of the notarisation. If everything went fine the subject will be “Your Mac software was successfully notarized.” This indicates that your software is in Apples index of notarised apps and you can distribute it…
