How to show a PDF in iOS

Thanks . . . How do I use it? The example link doesn’t link to anything

Interesting. clicking that link, my browser offers to download a file.

That demo project has a “control” as well as an action button at the top which shows the sharing panel to Save or Print the pdf.

I’m using a web app on an iOS device. I’m not paying the ridiculous cost for xojo iOS and rewriting everything yet again . . .

Ah sorry. It was interesting to put together anyway.

I think is better if you create a new post about your situation in the web subforum, people is answering your problem as if you are using Xojo iOS.

This post started in April 2021 and it doesn’t match your current problem.

But do ya have any ideas for web on iOS? This is what I’m getting now:

iOS:

Right. What you’re seeing in the browser is whatever the browser provides.

Now, there is a project out there for rendering PDFs in a browser which I believe Firefox uses.

Here it is:

There’s also GraffitiPDFViewer for Web if you’re a customer. Other than using that or implementing your own, you’re at the mercy of the Safari renderer on iOS in any browser…at least until/unless they allow other vendors to ship their own renderers.

$400 per year.

Sorry it’s not for you, but creating just that class alone would cost you much more than that in time spent. You additionally get another 65 Web products included in the Suite. Either way, I hope you find a solution that works for you.
