Okay. I thought there was an example I could go by. Thanks.
If I needed to do something soon, I’d try Sleepy Mongoose on the server side and access it from a Xojo app with HTTPSocket (or secure).
I dont have an example nor do I have time to actually write one
I understand. Thank you Norman.
There was a great article posted about NoSQL databases and MongoDB today:
Article
if there is enough demand for a Xojo driver, MongoDB(inc) might write one. JustSayin.
I made a jira ticket for creating a driver for Xojo. And it made it to someone’s kanban board but it is way down on the priority list. If any of you that want to see the driver created, please login (accounts are free) and “watch” the ticket. It will show that there are people that are wanting it and will notify you if there is any changes in status. You can also make a “comment” to the ticket if you wish. Currently the owner of the ticket and I are the only one watching this ticket.
thank all
There is no plugin or public code that accesses it that I know of.
However, it should be possible to write code that does.
Busy working on a pure Xojo MongoDB driver (source code also available). First version available for download.
