I agree totally. As a Windows only (almost) user I expect the scroll wheel to work where the mouse cursor is pointing - a bit daft any other way really.
But this whole conversation is about how Xojo OSX doesn’t respond as Xojo Windows does in that I need to check for iscontextuallclick on OSX but not on Windows.

Even if the OS vendor ask (strongly ask) for a behavior, always use the most natural way to do things *. Our users will be happy IMHO.
- Remember: the person who ask is - in most of the cases - not the engineer who code it. Also, boss / managers sometimes ask things and - most of the times- does not understand what all this ■■■■ is about.
Remember the last days or gif / jpg licenses: bosses says: “Use GIF” or “Use JPEG” while a free and as good (if not better) way existed.
I also suffered to that long time ago: my manager said (because someone not involved speak about that) “Use PageMaker” when I wanted to use QuarkXPress (I was more fluent with the later)
