I am not sure what to say, as none of the calls in the latest crash seem to have any familiar calls from my plugins. Maybe Xojo can review the issues and offer some information?
The only possible person able to extrapolate some possibility (or not) for that crash looking at that stack trace is @William_Yu . The reviewer (Robin) just said he could not replicate the issue.
Robin is really good at reviewing, so I will just ignore the issue. My computer has not crashed with this issue since I last reported it.
I will just continue to used ByRef in the method parameter for the future.
Your IDE crash OK, as I also could not reproduce. But the struct being corrupted bug, that is easily reproducible, must be tracked down and fixed ASAP. We MUST not give up on fixing bugs looking for workarounds all the time or will be plagued by an accumulative number of destructive bugs and increasing (some random) side effects; some may be plaguing us right now, like your IDE crash…
