I have no problem with their commission. Its the pulling of apps that they take commission on because youve not paid for the privilege of having them there in the first place.

The same thing happens on all platforms. Google Play Store, Huawei Gallery, Amazon App Store all take 30% share on Android apps. About Amazon, they take about the same kind of share between FBA fees and advertisement out of hardware as well.
As a comparison, most shops expect at least 40% share on software boxes distribution.[/quote]
Look at it another way. The App Store is like a billboard. You pay to be displayed on it.
Once again, there are hundreds of shareware repositories that not only won’t have you pay a dime to display your software, but will probably never pull it. However, apart from MacUpdate, none of them won’t sell for you. So if you want to sell your app, you need to put up a web site, and build some engineering or use a service to take money and deliver your software.
The App Store is a commercial service. Nothing more, nothing less. NOT a public service.
I am not saying it is moral or anything. But it just is what it is.

Would you be willing to start a new thread with some advice? I’m trying to promote ExeWrapper, and I’ve got a few places submitted. You had recommended AppVisor in another thread, but they are not free. I would definitely be interested in a post about good software promotion services.
